As scheduled by the PHP.net developers, version 5.4 is end-of-life (EOL) since the 14.09.2015. By consequence it does no longer receive official bug fixes or security patches. As with PHP 5.2 and 5.3 we will continue to provide and security-patch it for the foreseeable future for compatibility with older PHP scripts. If you do not need this specific version, we recommend to switch to a newer version through your cPanel account.
