BarCamp - Gemeinsam Digitalisierung gestalten

Under the patronage of Prime Minister Malu Dreyer, the first BarCamp DIGITALIZATION Trier-Luxembourg will take place on 20 and 21 September 2019 as an event organized by the Digital Hub Region Trier on the campus of Trier University of Applied Sciences.

Increasing digitization presents all actors in our regional economy with particular challenges. For this reason, the City of Trier's Economic Development Department, the Media and IT Network Trier-Luxembourg (MITL .eV) and the campus design of Trier University of Applied Sciences invite for the first time under the umbrella of the Digital Hub Region Trier to the border-crossing Tri-Lux BarCamp 2019 .

Under the motto "Meeting Digital Makers in the Border Region Trier-Luxemburg", the event offers the opportunity to address the problems and solutions of the digital transformation. On both days, opportunities and risks of the digital future of our region and economy are discussed in an inspiring atmosphere. The participants have the opportunity to help shape the sessions, discussions and presentations with their individual problems or proposed solutions and their own digitalization expertise. The Tri-Lux BarCamp 2019 should be a platform to learn from each other and make valuable contacts in the border region Trier-Luxembourg.

The aim of the BarCamp is to give interested parties the opportunity to discuss current trends in digitization, to identify solutions, to highlight their own projects and to find fellow combatants. Whether digital native, blogger, journalist, entrepreneur, executive, researcher, startup or otherwise involved in digitization - everyone can contribute and set impulses.

Under the hashtag #triluxcamp the BarCamp takes place on two days as a full-day open workshop. Concrete contents and the procedure are developed directly on the spot by the participants. The guiding theme of digitization merely represents the framework of the event. Which topics are specifically explained and discussed in detail is determined solely by the participants.

BarCamps primarily serve the exchange of knowledge and experience among each other, but can also be a meeting point for new ideas and ideas. Above all, a network can be created here in the border region of Trier-Luxembourg.

The event takes place in cooperation with the Chambre des Métiers Luxembourg, the Chamber of Crafts Trier, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Trier and the Wissenschaftsallianz Trier eV and the Mittelstand Research Center at the University of Trier.
