WHOIS is one of the major compliance issues with the upcoming GDPR rules. As a direct registrar we have asked the .lu authority to clarify how WHOIS will be handled for .lu domains. In essence WHOIS will be limited to the absolute minimum without any personal information with the web-based WHOIS on dns.lu a little more informatif. They will be providing a special means to contact the domain owner / administrator if there is an urgent need.
